I was talking to Jacob last night on the street. A young guy who looked like he had done some heavy stuff in his young life.
“One time, ” Jacob told me, “I went straight up through the clouds to heaven (on a trip). But when I got there the gates were locked and they wouldn’t let me in. I have had a bad past. So they sent me to hell to work as a slave. It was so hot there I could feel the flames. I knew I wasn’t fit enough or strong enough to stay in hell forever though and I didn’t know how to get out.”
Ice is crystal methamphetamine, a synthetic drug, in its purest form. Ice is now endemic in Australia. The government and law enforcement are powerless against this demonic drug, but so far are unwilling to admit that they have lost control and have no idea what to do about it.
I believe that we are entering a new season my brothers and sisters. And ice is only a small part of what is coming. God is going to all0w everything that can be shaken to be shaken. Everything we have trusted in – money, global economics, security, the things Western culture was built on, even Christianity – everything that can be shaken will be shaken.

The birth pangs have already begun : earthquakes in diverse places, mass deception, wars, rumours of wars, men are now lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God (see Matthew 24 and 2 Timothy 3)
All this was prophesied 2000 years ago, and it is happening right NOW. There’s not time left now. God is permitting a huge shaking to come and it is going to begin in the church.
Why would He do that?

Because He needs to sort the wheat from the chaff.
The only way to separate precious wheat kernels from the inedible husk (or chaff) is to shake, shake, shake it with a winnowing fork till

Jesus is now looking to see who will stand. Who will stand when the shaking comes? When all we have put our trust in topples and falls… will we be blown away as chaff? Where will we put our trust… Will it be in Christ alone?
Will the Son of Man find faith on the earth?
This is it my friends. Now is the time to topple Self off the throne of your life and allow the rightful king back on His throne. It is Jesus Christ only who will provide refuge in the coming storm. It is Him alone who can save you.
Jacob said to me last night on the street after I’d shared the gospel with him that he is the “god of his own life”.

My answer to Jacob was : “Well, you are going to hell then.”
He half-gasped/ half-laughed in surprise: “I can’t believe you just said that to me.”
Yeah, because no one says the honest, blatant truth anymore.
The essence of sin is self-love. That is it. The devil had it, he tried to elevate himself to god-hood and he is on his way to the lake of fire to burn with the chaff for eternity.
There’s no time left for seeker-sensitive rubbish and I can’t be bothered with it anymore. For goodness sake, Christ has died for us. He took the punishment for your sin and mine at the cross. He shed His sinless blood to pay for our horrendous crimes against God. What wondrous love is that? What more could He do?
Get right with God now or face Him at the judgment seat of Christ. Your choice.
Jacob took a New Testament last night. He said that he is going to seriously consider what we talked about.
Earlier today I got a ride from Lewiston to Grangeville, Idaho. I walked out of Grangeville about a half mile and this car pulled over to give me a ride. It was an older couple. They knew some friends of mine that lived in the Kooskia neighborhood. They said that they could drop me off at my friends’ place.
As we were driving down the road, the husband told me about a vision that an ex-Muslim had from the Lord. He had been a dyed-in-the-wool Muslim for a number of years and then he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. He had been in hiding because he had a lot of death threats from his Muslim family.
Here is the ex-Muslim’s vision:
He saw the Lord in all of His glory. Then he saw George Washington kneeling before the Lord. George Washington was pleading with the Lord and said, “Please don’t let the wicked take over my country [the United States].” The Lord replied, “I will not let the wicked [unrepentant abortionists, homosexuals, earth worshippers, etc] take over your country, but I will have to destroy it first.”
Romans 1: 24-28: “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. When Roman Emperor Nero committed suicide in AD 68, a 120 foot high painting of him in the gardens of Maius, four kilometers away, was destroyed by a bolt of lightning … on the same day.
Nero was infamously known as the Emperor who “fiddled while Rome burned.” He blamed the Christians for Rome burning, and had many of them thrown to the wild beasts or crucified. He also burned them to death at night, where they served as ‘lighting’ in his gardens, while he mingled among the watching crowds. It is this brutal persecution which immortalized Nero as the first Antichrist in the eyes of the Christian church.
The lightning bolt is associated with Lucifer, who Jesus saw fall from heaven like lightning. It’s also a symbol for Zeus (same god with a small ‘g’). The symbol was used in the swastika (turn the Z’s around) and in the Waffen SS.
Which brings us to the modern-day Roman Emperor. When the last Pope suddenly resigned, a lightning bolt hit St Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican repeatedly.
I think there’s more to that sudden resignation than we’re being told. But I don’t think Ratzinger went to Hollywood.
Pope Francis, the latest Roman Emperor, is very popular. He looks gentler and softer than the previous Pope.
Here’s Pope Francis being promoted in this kid’s cartoon by Fox. But see the lightning bolts on his sunglasses? Interesting. My daughter tells me the lightning bolts are used in cartoons to denote reflections.
The Pope will be addressing the U.S. congress on the day the French Foreign Minister warned we’d have ‘climate chaos’. The next day the Pope will be addressing the U.N. when it launches its ‘sustainable development’ agenda for the world.
Sustainable development” is a communist buzzword that means population control, which is not what the Pope should be about, unless he’s changing the Roman Catholic church’s stance on family planning, amongst other things. Religion should have nothing to do with Agenda 21.
No wonder president Morales of Bolivia, himself an Atheist Marxist, clearly seemed to think the Pope would be pleased with a hammer and sickle crucifix.
After The Pope has spoken at the UN and Congress this month, he leaves for Rome on the eve of the last blood moon. I see a bad moon arising.
Let’s see what he’s got planned. He may look like a lamb but he’s speaking like a dragon.
God is not created, nor is he ever in need of anything. To say such, one would have to admit that cannot be God, for God is wont of nothing. Tozer states it thus, ‘Need is a creature-word and cannot be spoken by the Creator’. In addition, ‘God has a voluntary relationship to everything He has made, but He has no necessary relationship to anything outside Himself’. However, all things created on Earth are in need of something such as air and water without which all life would cease to be. God is never in need of anything.
More importantly for us, Tozer writes, ‘Any motion in His direction is elevation for the creature; away from Him, descent.’ This I believe is an incredible perception I have not really thought of. As we get further and further away from God, we are descending, not necessarily to some version of Hell, but as the Old Testament word ‘Sheol’, where all the dead would go and where darkness abounds is the absence of God. In Tozer’s case, we would be beyond Him. Only when we truly begin to follow his precepts can we be lifted up coming more closely to Him then the other way around. As we grow closer, His light and eminence will shine more brightly on us.
A common trend among Christians is the belief that God somehow needs us. Tozer corrects this misconception by stating, ‘Probably the hardest thought of all for our natural egotism to entertain is that God does not need our help. We commonly represent Him as a busy, eager, somewhat frustrated Father hurrying about seeking help to carry out His benevolent plan to bring peace and salvation to the world.’ This current trend Tozer writes is common among new Christians who seek to be of service to God to fulfill His needs.
Furthermore, today’s Christianity tends to view Jesus as someone who is in need of us as much as we are in need of Him. Tozer corrects this thought by stating, ‘The truth that the Man who walked among us was a demonstration, not of unveiled deity but of perfect humanity. The awful majesty of the Godhead was mercifully sheathed in the soft envelope of human nature to protect mankind.’
A common theme throughout these chapters is that current Christians have lost the view of the awesomeness of God. We are not in awe anymore because we can see incredible images of the universe and distance galaxies that it all seems natural. We have lost the concept of this creation and how we are limited without God. We forget to worship because we have forgotten to be in awe of His majesty and greatness.
Sexual perversion has been a prime mover in the destruction of civilizations. Is America next?
