A Reexamination of the Las Vegas Earthquake Dream   6 comments

Recently a co-worker flew to Las Vegas to visit some friends. He spent a few days in Las Vegas and said that the pandemic (I call it the fake pandemic) has really devastated the economy of Las Vegas. He said that the casinos are now open three or four days a week. The number of tourists visiting Las Vegas are way down from a year ago.

I had a dream about a Las Vegas earthquake back in 2006. Because of that dream, I thought that someday Las Vegas would have a literal, physical earthquake. Maybe that dream was not about a literal earthquake, but that the Lord would devastate the economy of Las Vegas. I also had a dream in 2017. In that dream, this man walked up to me and gave me a piece of paper with the words: “see ‘las vegas earthquake'”. Because of that dream, I believe that the Lord wanted me to reread and reexamine the Las Vegas Earthquake dream that He gave me in 2006.

Dreams are either literal or figurative. So instead of a literal earthquake destroying Las Vegas, we have a figurative earthquake (fake pandemic) destroying the economy of Las Vegas. And maybe Las Vegas represents the United States. The fake pandemic has devastated the economy and society of the United States.

A friend of mine told me that a spiritual Christian told her that the fake pandemic was God’s judgment on the United States and the world because of abortion. I believe that is true. Mark Taylor, the prophet, said that the fake pandemic is God’s judgment on the church system. I believe that is also true. Many people are not able to go to church on Sunday, so they are having home churches–and that is probably what the Lord wanted all along. The first church buildings weren’t built till around 400 A.D. Too many people think that the church is a physical building. It is not. The church is the people. Too many pastors are pastors of church buildings or church organizations–they are not pastors of the people. John Wesley used to preach on horseback or in the town square. George Fox used to preach out in the country–in the fields and the pastures. Our lives are preaching to others everyday whether we realize it or not. The life in Christ is the sermon. Our lives can be more powerful than words. “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” (I Corinthians 4:20)

  1. Not a fan of mark taylor i consider a false prophet but what written here makes total sense. The earthquake quite reasonably could be the economy. Was thinking on this line about 2/3 of israel to be cut off and die but 1/3 survive thru the fire and be refinded to love Christ. Used to think of war or nukes to do this. But now may just by the jab! If the devil can jab more than 2/3, then it voids a prophesy and Christ wont return. Of course thr devil is an idiot on thinking he can block prophesy.

    • I was curious for quite some time why the Lord gave me the “Las Vegas Earthquake Imminent?” dream. I believe the Lord wanted me to study the “Las Vegas Earthquake” dream a little more. There are so many things that the Lord reveals to us that are not literal–or we cannot understand them right away.

I remember the first prophetic dream that I ever had (as far as I know) was back in 1990. There were two parts to the dream: the first part I understood right away; the second part I finally understood 14 years later. Better late than never, I guess.

Remember yesterday when we were talking about “fleeing to the mountains” could mean fleeing to God or that Mount Zion in the New Testament sense means the Presence of God? A number of years ago, I was watching the History Channel and they were doing this program about the Book of Genesis. They were talking about when Cain killed Abel and what happened to Cain after he killed Abel. Here are two scriptures:

Genesis 4:12: “When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.”

Genesis 4:16: “And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.”

For many scholars, they were stumped about the “Land of Nod”. Where is the Land of Nod? So they talked with this Jewish Rabbi from NYC. He said that the Land of Nod was not a geographical place. The Land of Nod meant “to wander”. Cain was cursed to wander, to be restless, because he was driven from the Presence of the Lord.

To be in the Presence of God is to be at rest (Christ is our Sabbath Rest). Even when I was hitchhiking all over the United States for most of 23 years, I wasn’t restless: I was in the Will of God, I was in the Presence of God.

Genesis 4:17: “And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city.” Let’s say Cain lived in that city for the rest of his life. Because he was without the Presence of God, he was still restless, he was still wandering in life as a fugitive and a vagabond without God.

Isaiah 48:22: “There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.” Without God in their lives, the wicked continually live in the Land of Nod or the Land of Restlessness.

      • Busy & exhausted but appreciate that on land of nod or restlessness out of Gods presence. That’s a huge understanding.

  2. Stive: here is a little more on the “Land of Nod” from the Benson Commentary:

“Genesis 4:16. And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt on the east of Eden — Somewhere distant from the place where Adam and his religions family resided: distinguishing himself and his accursed generation from the holy seed; in the land of Nod — That is, of shaking or trembling, because of the continual restlessness of his spirit. Those that depart from God cannot find rest anywhere else. When Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, he never rested after.”

  3. This is from the Cambridge Bible for Schools and Colleges:

“. . . in the land of Nod] That is, Wandering, cf. the word “wanderer” (nâd) in Genesis 4:12; Genesis 4:14. This region cannot be identified; it serves as a vague designation for all the country in the unknown East, which was thought to be inhabited only by nomads.”

  4. Hebrew word Nod:

“The verb נוד (nud) means to wander or flutter. Nouns נוד (nod) and נד (nod) describe the wandering of a fugitive. Noun ניד (nid) describes the quivering of lips. Noun מנוד (manod) means a shaking or wagging.”
