Psychologists finally acknowledge “moral injuries”   12 comments

post abortion syndrome

By Tom Quiner

Returning servicemen are battling an intractable malady.

Psychologists call them “moral injuries.” They are baffled as to how to treat them.

Moral injuries occur to our soldiers who have killed other human beings during their deployment. In many cases, they occur even if they only witnessed killing and didn’t perpetrate it themselves.

An Associated Press story characterized moral injuries as follows:

“A moral injury tortures the conscience; symptoms include deep shame, guilt and rage. It’s not a medical problem, and it’s unclear how to treat it, says retired Col. Elspeth Ritchie, former psychiatry consultant to the Army surgeon general.”

Moral injuries have been around forever. They permeate American society at frightening levels. The Catholic Church has seen it infect their flock in the lives of women who have had human abortions. The Church increasingly reaches out to these women, and the fathers of the aborted, with post-abortive counseling.

Pills can’t fix the problem.

Psychiatry can’t fix the problem.

It takes spiritual healing, a total embrace of the lavish forgiveness found at the foot of the cross. Even then, apparently, it’s a tough road to hoe for the post-abortive.

A priest once acknowledged the dilemma to me. He said women had come to him and confessed their sin of abortion. (Even if the culture says there is nothing wrong with it, women know in their gut that they’ve done something gravely wrong.) The priest said that Christ forgives them their sin. And He does, He really, really does.

But they can’t accept His forgiveness.

That is how traumatic moral injuries are.

Interestingly, CNN has shown an interest on how abortion affects the lives of women after having abortions. They have asked women to come forward and tell their stories. The vast majority of the women who have come forward acknowledge regret, deep pain and suffering due to their decision.

God love these women. They are hurting bad. Here are but a few comments from CNN’s website from post-abortive women:

“7 years later and I am still heartbroken.”

“I never wanted to have an abortion, but it haunts me that I still did it anyway.”

“I wanted them to put that baby back inside of me.”

“I don’t know a single post abortive woman that isn’t self destructive.”

“Our choices have consequences whether we see it right away or not.”

“For months after that, I knew nothing except that I wanted to die. Death was the only certain escape from the horrific pit that had formed in my soul. I begged for therapy. I screamed for help. But only inside. How could I admit what I had done?”

As the Army is slowly learning, human beings experience moral injuries when they kill other human beings.

Women who buy the lie that human abortion is moral because it is legal are suffering the same injuries as our soldiers.

Although there are just wars, there are no just abortions.

We need to end abortion for the sake of women, if nothing else. Millions of women are dying a slow death due to the trauma of moral injuries.

Dreams from the LORD 2003-2006
7 February 2005

Back in August 1989 while I was living in Ames, Iowa, I was taking a nap and this intense light shown through my body like an X-ray. I screamed in excruciating pain when it happened. It may have lasted only a few seconds, but what I saw was significant. As the intense light shown through my body, I could see a big, black blob on my right side—from my upper right chest down into my right leg. Immediately, I realized that the Lord was showing me the demonic stronghold (the strongman?) in my body.

Around February of 1997 while I was working at Harold Pike Construction Company, I was at the warehouse checking the oil in a truck parked outside. Just then a couple of Pike employees drove by in a truck, and since there was some good, wet snow on the ground, I decided to grab a handful and throw a snowball at their vehicle as a little distraction. Just as I threw the snowball, a shot of pain went through my right ribcage. I thought I had pulled a muscle. I was very sore. The next morning I was so sore I could barely breathe and I had to call in to Pike Construction and tell them that I wouldn’t make it to work that day. The next day I came to work, but was greatly hindered by my “injured” ribcage. It healed up in about four days and I have had no problem since.

The Lord showed me that I had been delivered from a demon. Sometimes when demons come out, they rip and tear and cause temporary soreness. This soreness sometimes feels like a bone is broken. The soreness can last any where from twenty-four hours to three weeks (in my experience). The demon that came out of me, I believe, was a soul tie with my mom.

Why did the demon come out? Because a week before the deliverance, the Lord woke me up in the middle of the night and told me to write a letter to my mom rebuking her and her husband for the way they had treated me for so many years because of my Christian faith and other things. Example: dad put me in four mental hospitals and had me pay roughly $5000.00 in hospital bills and then he later told me that he paid for it. I also spent nine and a half months in Ireland back in 1981 and 1982 using my own hard-earned money (between the ages of eleven and sixteen, I earned several thousand dollars raising 4-H cattle, baling hay, walking beans, working for farmers, etc.) and he later took credit for paying for it. Also, my dad usually ignored me and my accomplishments or else took credit for them. I told my mom in the letter that I did not trust or respect her or her husband. They had never acknowledged the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ healed me of manic-depression back in 1986. Since they rejected me, they rejected Christ. In the letter, I ripped into them pretty good. Satan runs that family and I had been dreaming of getting away from that family since I was seven years old.

When my mom received and read that scathing letter, I believe that a soul tie between her and myself was broken. A curse was broken, and the demon could no longer stay in my body. What a relief that was. When we obey the Lord, bondage is broken. The anointing breaks the yoke of sin.

Lamentations 3: 64-66:  “Render unto them a recompence, O LORD, according to the work of their hands.  Give them sorrow of heart, thy curse unto them.  Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD.”

Lamentations 4: 13-14:  “For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her,  They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments.”

“I thought you’d like to know that my wife delivered a beautiful, healthy baby girl that your clinic here in Nha Trang Vietnam told my wife to have an abortion because the baby didn’t have a heartbeat.

“When my wife was about a month pregnant she happily and so proud left the house that morning to go to your clinic here because someone told us Marie Stopes was the best Women’s health clinic in Nha Trang and one of the top in Vietnam.  When she came home about an hour later she was crying and emotionally torn up. YOUR CLINIC told her the baby didn’t have a heart beat (you dumb asses) don’t even know that sometimes a heart beat isn’t audible until 12 weeks.,  But your office was hoping my wife would be like the countless other ignorant, uneducated young girls, who believe anything a doctor tells them, but unfortunately for you, I am an American, educated, retired Naval Officer who immediately saw something seriously wrong with her report.

Here is a comment from “Abortion Protests and Counter Protests in Full Swing in Jackson” (Channel 8 News; Idaho Falls, Idaho):

“I was in Jackson a week previously with Missionaries to the Preborn’s aborted baby pictures, and found a lot of the residents are shortsighted selfish bloodthirsty pro-aborts, but there are many good residents too who understand abortion is murder.  They appreciated our graphic abortion signs which show how vicious the abortion industry is.  The Jackson police learned from their local courts to not trample on the Constution any more, so at last notice the Jackson law enforcement personnel were being reasonable about the First Amendment even while local pro-aborts were trying imaginative dirty tricks like trying to con traffic into driving around the pictures that reveal what abortion is.  The fact the babykilling industry works so hard to avoid and cover up the vile butchery of abortion shows how scared they are of the truth coming out.  They claim they are ‘protecting children’ from seeing slaughtered babies, but in reality kids like to see the gore just like they do at Halloween, and in reality the pro-aborts don’t want to have to explain to their children that they have already murdered their missing brothers and sisters.  Their unresolved guilt will continue to torment them until they sincerely confess and repent, as many have already learned to do.”

Jeremiah 31: 15:  “Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.”

The Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah

25 August 2012

Today I was hitchhiking north on U.S. 395 and was dropped off at Davis Creek, California.  I got a hamburger and something to drink at the country store in Davis Creek.  From Davis Creek I continued walking north.

It seemed like it was a slow day for getting rides.  I walked a few miles and began to run out of water.  It was very warm (around 86 degrees F) and the air was smoky from all of the wildfires in the northern California-eastern Oregon neighborhood.  Last night, as I slept in my sheepherder’s camper at my friends’ place, the air seemed smokier than usual (the air has been smoky for most of the past month).

I stopped walking and began to wonder why it was taking me so long to get to Lakeview, Oregon.  Then I realized that the Lord was delaying me for a reason (Jesus Christ is Lord over my hitchhiking).

I stood there on the side of the road for quite some time.  Then this older lady in an old pickup pulled over to give me a ride.

She told me, as the conversation progressed, that she was born in England during the war (World War II); her dad was in the Air Force.  They moved to California when she was one year old.  She did most of the talking.  It was difficult to understand her at times; she seemed slightly eccentric.

She was talking and then she started complaining about all of the smoke in the air and all of the wildfires.  Then she exclaimed, “This is Sodom!  This is Sodom!”

I replied, “Yeah, there is a lot of sin in this country.”  (I mentioned the sins of abortion and homosexuality)

She told me that she was a believer.  She also said that there were too many churches that didn’t believe there was a devil.  She had a Bible on the dashboard of her pickup.  She mentioned Proverbs 20:18, so I took her Bible and read that verse out loud (“Every purpose is established by counsel:  and with good advice make war.”)

She talked some more and then exclaimed again, “This is Sodom!  This is Sodom!”

I again nodded in agreement.  I don’t know how many times she said “This is Sodom!”, but I knew that she was repeating it for a reason.  “In the mouth of two or three witnesses, let every word be established.”  I knew that the Lord had her pick me up so that I could hear what she had to say.

Three or four times she reminded me to pass her message on to others.  I told her that I would do that.  She dropped me off near the county courthouse in Lakeview.

Out of the mouths of babes, sucklings and eccentric people, Thou has perfected praise.  “The Lord uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise.”

The Lord had that lady pick me up.  She kept repeating, “This is Sodom!”  What does this mean?  Maybe the drought and wildfires are just the beginning of sorrows for the United States.  Maybe more judgment is coming.  This is a perverse generation.

Genesis 19: 24-28:

“Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;  And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD:  And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.”

Jackson, Wyoming: Modern Day Baal Worship   2 comments

Here is an article about pro-abortionist Reverend Mary Erickson of the St. John’s Episcopal Church in Jackson, Wyoming.  Mary Erickson is one of the more prominent Baal Worshipers in Jackson.

St. John’s Episcopal Church, Jackson, Wyoming

Hail Mary! Reverend Mary Erickson

.
Faced with a perceived threat, Reverend Mary Erickson was compelled to act. As a mother of two kids, she felt immediate maternal instincts to protect impressionable children from the graphic imagery used by anti-abortionists which included militant members of Operation Save America. Her day job as an assistant priest at St. John’s Episcopal Church had given her the experience she needed to rally others, to organize the fears and aspirations of a group and direct them for good. Her vocation taught her hate is always fought best with love.
.
Jackson Hole United was formed in the face of the second coming of right-to-life protesters, including Pastor Mark Holick and his church along with OSA volunteers. Intimidated by a recent State Supreme Court ruling in the pro-lifers’ favor, Town of Jackson officials allowed their special events permit with some restrictions. It was obvious someone needed to step in and step up. It was Erickson, and others, who answered the call and provided Jacksonites with a quiet leadership that brought cohesiveness to a fractured community.
.
When OSA brought its repugnant revival to the town square during Elk Fest, its shock-and-awe campaign was met with civility, compassion, and love. Red-shirted proponents of fire and brimstone were calmed by the soothing ‘blue’ band of tight-knit locals who refused to let their town be hijacked. It was inconceivable that any one person or group could unite such a disparate clutch of citizens, yet here were 2,297 believers dedicated to a movement bigger than Facebook, each ready to pledge an allegiance to their kids and their community.
.
And the good reverend tended her flock with grace.
.
“I don’t think I anticipated it having as big an impact as it did. I think it was one of those perfect storm kind of things. The situation met the need,” Erickson says. “I like the fact that we allowed it to be what it needed to be, we agreed that it had to happen and grow organically.”
.
Still, Erickson acknowledged any inclusive group was going to have its own internal strife. There would be divisiveness. There had to be. JHU is made up of pro-lifers, pro-choicers, political lefts and rights, religious followers and the secular-minded. Each JHU member brought his or her own beliefs and baggage, and that was OK as long as members remembered the golden rule. When their emotions ran raw, when fear and hatred provoked rash rhetoric, they needed to be coaxed back on the path.
.
“We did have a lot of that on the Facebook side of things. [JH Weekly] was a target of that,” Erickson says. “My sense is to step in when things get ugly and remind people what we are about. It’s OK to disagree but not to get ugly. We may come from different places and backgrounds, but we should all be coming from a place of compassion and understanding. We respect our right for free speech and JH United is an open site intentionally. But we have a mission and goal. We don’t want to shut people up, we just want them to express themselves in a respectful way.”
.
Erickson admitted she continues to be somewhat surprised by how quickly the group came together and how it has now grown bigger than the issue it was born of. During the wildfire that threatened Jackson, anger occasionally surfaced again, nearly unraveling the threads of community. Some JHU members took up refuge in their safe place. The recent school shooting at Sandy Hook was another example of how horrid the world can be and once again a pacificator was needed to pilot our disquiet into calmer waters. Erickson, a gifted writer, penned an eloquent piece on the JHU Facebook page.
.
“I’ve had a lot of people tell me that [JHU] has continued to be a reminder for them to try to get back to that place of understanding and compassion for one another,” Erickson says. “The fact that this group has continued to grow shows the need in this world today for all of us to find a way to move back to a civil place when we are hurt or our emotions run high. If we can do that as a community then maybe we can have an effect globally.
.
“I don’t think it is over, I just don’t know where it’s going. There’s too much need for it in today’s world.”

Shiloh
By Tim Shey

Brutal deathdance;
My eyes weep blood.
Pharisees smile like vipers,
They laugh and mock their venom:
Blind snakes leading
The deaf and dumb multitude.

Where are my friends?
The landscape is dry and desolate.
They have stretched my shredded body
On this humiliating tree.

The hands that healed
And the feet that brought good news
They have pierced
With their fierce hatred.

The man-made whip
That opened up my back
Preaches from a proper pulpit.
They sit in comfort:
That vacant-eyed congregation.
The respected, demon-possessed reverend
Forks his tongue
Scratching itchy ears
While Cain bludgeons
Abel into silence.

My flesh in tattered pieces
Clots red and cold and sticks
To the rough-hewn timber
That props up my limp, vertical carcase
Between heaven and earth.
My life drips and puddles
Below my feet,
As I gaze down dizzily
On merciless eyes and dagger teeth.

The chapter-and-versed wolves
Jeer and taunt me.
Their sheepwool clothing
Is stained black with the furious violence
Of their heart of stone.
They worship me in lip service,
But I confess,
I never knew them
(Though they are my creation).

My tongue tastes like ashes:
It sticks to the roof of my mouth.
I am so thirsty.
This famine is too much for me.
The bulls of Bashan have bled me white.
Papa, into your hands
I commend my Spirit.

The American Culture of Death   9 comments

end the culture of death

My thoughts and prayers go out to the grieving parents who lost their children in the mass shooting in Connecticut.*

But the United States is a culture of death. We are still murdering 4000 pre-born baby boys and girls every day–LEGALLY–rubber stamped by our Supreme Court (Roe v Wade 1973). There is very little outrage over the shedding of innocent blood by abortionists. THE NEW YORK TIMES will never have headlines that read: “4000 More Babies Killed Today”. The NBA will never have a moment of silence before a basketball game for the aborted babies in this country. In places like Jackson, Wyoming, most people there would run over a thousand human babies just to save one wolf cub or save one eagle egg. This is a perverse generation.

Jackson, Wyoming

I remember I was living in Ames, Iowa–-I think it was in the 1990s–-and this mother of two from South Carolina put her kids in a car, pushed the car into a lake and the two kids drowned. There was a great public outcry. Then this local Catholic priest from Ames wrote a letter to the editor and said something like, “What’s the big deal? We murder children before they are born in this country, who cares if we murder them after they are born?” He really caused a stir in the Ames area and on the Iowa State University campus.

Because of this mass shooting in Connecticut, there will be heated debates about guns and gun control. But guns don’t kill people. It is the person who controls the trigger who kills people.

If they try to ban guns, they should ban cars, planes and abortion clinics. Cars, planes and abortion clinics kill people.

*[I now believe that the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax.]

Guns Don’t Kill People; Liberals Kill People

“God’s Word makes this claim: Here is the promised consequence:  Hosea 4:2 ESV – ‘…there is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.’ Innocent bloodshed has its consequences. God hates sin because it hates us and has consequences that we see manifested today in our nation. God is not only saddened He is angry. It’s time to repent, not just to mourn!”

Homosexuality is a Sin   1 comment

Dreams from the LORD 2007-2010
21 December 2010

Last night I had a dream. At first, I didn’t think it was from the Lord, but now I do. In the dream, I was at this Christian camp meeting talking with a high school buddy who was not a believer; I was talking to him about my Christian faith. Then there was this other guy—he acted very strange—he followed us to this cabin and then he went inside this restroom. I was talking with my high school buddy and we were both wondering what was wrong with that guy who followed us around and then walked into the restroom. Then we realized that he was a homosexual.

We left that cabin and walked to another cabin. Then all of these people walked into our cabin and it was very annoying. These people were talking and having a good time, but they had no interest in the Gospel. We were all at this Christian gathering, but there was no real fellowship going on. It was all a big social event, nothing spiritual was happening at all. It was very lukewarm, very worldly. It reminded me of a church that I attended back in Ames, Iowa back in 1987-1988—Great Commission Church—it was lukewarm, conformed to the world and very anti-Holy Ghost (they didn’t like people who heard from God [revelation knowledge] and obeyed God).

What does this dream mean? Most of the Christian churches in this country are too social, lukewarm and worldly. This is why homosexuality has infiltrated the churches and why some Christians think that homosexuality is not a sin. Homosexuality is a sin and the Lord is going to judge the United States because of homosexuality (they are teaching homosexuality to children in public schools) and the sin of abortion, idolatry and other sins. The Lord created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

Two Dreams: A Christian Cult and a Jezebel Spirit   8 comments

Elijah meeting Ahab and Jezebel in Naboth’s Vineyard

Dreams from the LORD 2007-2010
9 September 2010

Last night I had two dreams. In the first dream, I was with this man, woman and child and we were in this church group—it was really a Christian cult. I warned the man and his wife about this cult.  We left that group of people and went to this church building. The people were all dressed up for a Sunday service. But something was wrong. The man and wife and child and I walked through the church and out the back. There were people waiting for us in the back yard of the church. These people surrounded the man, woman and child. I walked back into the church and the people were acting very strange.

I walked back outside in the yard behind the church. The group of people had turned into a mob. They had tied up the man, woman and child in ropes and had lifted them up and were carrying them to this altar to kill them.

It was then that I yelled, “Come out of them, Satan, in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth!”

The people scattered and the man, woman, child and I escaped that church.

In the second dream, I was in this city. It looked like the downtown area. There was this big building and there was this crowd of people guarding the building. I walked up to these two guys and they were trying to attack the crowd of people at the building; the two guys were across the street from the building.

Then this big guy from the crowd of people attacked our position with a machine gun. We hunkered down behind this gravel pile. I then grabbed some rocks and began throwing them at the big guy with the machine gun. He was firing the machine gun, but the bullets bounced off of my body. I kept throwing the rocks at him until he started crying and ran back to the crowd of people near the building.

I then ran towards the crowd of people and yelled, “In the Name of Jesus, begone, Satan!”

The crowd began to split off in two directions (it reminded me of the parting of the Red Sea in the Old Testament). Then I came face to face with this woman who was the leader of this group of people. I then spoke directly at her very forcefully, “Come out of her, Jezebel spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ!” Then the dream ended.

This is a story about an experience I had at a Christian cult.

I was hitchhiking in eastern Pennsylvania back in April 1998 when this man and his son picked me up. When I got in the car, immediately, this guy gave me the creeps. I noticed a Bible on the dashboard, so I thought maybe he was a Christian.

We got to talking and he asked me why I was hitchhiking. I told him that I was hitchhiking from Iowa to New York; I wanted to visit David Wilkerson’s church at 51st and Broadway in Manhattan. I am a Christian and love to read the Bible, but when we would talk about Scripture and the things of God, everything this guy said didn’t seem right—it didn’t bear witness with my spirit.

So he said that he lived in a Christian community in Saugerties, New York—in the Catskill Mountains. He said that it would be all right if I wanted to stay the night and then hit the road the next day. It was okay by me.

We drove to Saugerties to the “Christian community.” There were several buildings at the compound. There were probably 50 men, women and children. He showed me around the place and then this other guy showed me more of the place. I didn’t like being there right away.

These little kids would walk up to me like little robots and say woodenly, “Welcome to our community. It is so nice that you are here.” Or words to that effect. It seemed like little canned speeches. I would meet adults and they would say the same thing.

It was soon late afternoon and they had an evening fellowship meeting in the main building. It lasted maybe half an hour: singing, dancing, a little message from one of the leaders—the Spirit of Christianity was not there. It seemed so fake and artificial. The Presence of God was not there at all. It reminded me of a church back in Ames, Iowa that I used to go to back in 1987-1988—Great Commission Church [Fun, Games & Entertainment Church]—very cultish.

For some reason, I noticed this guy on the other side of the room. You could tell that he hated being there: he would stay for a few minutes and then he would leave—he did this a few times.

After the meeting, we went to the building where everybody dined. I sat down at this table and the guy who I noticed at the meeting sat across from me. He knew that I was the new guy in town, so he asked me a lot of questions about hitchhiking. He had never gone hitchhiking before, so I told him to put his trust in God and that the Lord would protect him on the road. He finished his meal before everybody else and shook my hand and shook my hand and shook my hand and smiled at me and thanked me for telling him about hitchhiking. He walked out of the building and on purpose walked by the window where I could see him and he smiled at me. At the time, I wondered why I was seeing this.

After supper some of us sat down in the living room and I was surrounded by five people. They told me that they were the ONLY ONES doing the will of God and that I should stay there permanently. I told them that I had planned on staying one night and then I would head to New York City. I listened to their propaganda for at least three hours and then I went to bed.

I didn’t sleep at all that night: I was on pins and needles. I told the Lord that I was in the pit of Hell and why did He put me here? I knew that God has everything under control, but I still wondered why I was at that cult.

Well, the next morning we all went to the morning fellowship meeting. The first thing that one of the elders said was, “Brother So-and-So escaped last night.”

I stood there semi-shocked and said to myself, “Praise the Lord! That guy that I talked to last night escaped. Now I got to get out of here.” Why would that elder use the word “escape”? Man, what a flogging idiot.

So after the morning meeting, I walked back to my dorm room and packed up my bag and walked out the front door.

The guy who picked me up in Pennsylvania was waiting for me outside and started yelling at me, “Tim, what are you doing?!” He looked very concerned as if something was wrong with me.

I smiled at him and said, “I’m hitting the road just like I said.”

Then he took this piece of paper and read what was written on it and said, “No. I am your leader. You must obey me. We are the ONLY ONES doing the will of God. You must stay here.”

I said, “Well, you boys keep up the good work, but I’m hitting the road.” I even shook his hand; it was like shaking a limp piece of nothing. He was really ticked off that I was leaving.

So I walked on down the road and eventually got rides all the way to New Hamburg, New York where I took a train into Manhattan.

I was so glad to get out of that Christian cult and I was grateful that the Lord used me to help that guy escape that place. But then I told the Lord, “Please don’t ever do that to me again.”

“Not my will, but Thine be done.” “Obedience is better than sacrifice.”

Maybe the title of this entry should be “Escape from New York.”

Jackson fire

Wildfire south of Jackson, Wyoming, 2012

Hello Dear Saints, [This email was sent to me yesterday]

This is [name deleted] in Jackson Hole, WY! I was born in Jackson and lived here most of my life! Fire is not a typical problem in our area!

Saturday 9/8 a small fire broke out South of Jackson [Horsethief Canyon Fire]. It was quickly pushed away from the homes into national forest. This fire is doubling everyday. At first moving west, but it has curved around and back behind Jackson. This morning the sky was black and dark with rain clouds and moisture was in the air. As it rained I felt a burden to pray ‘His Will”. I prayed…

“Lord if it be Your Will to put judgment on Jackson,
Please stop the rain…if it be your will
I pray Your Will be done here with this fire.
I Pray that you will send 100’s of Millions of Angel here to do Your will!”

5-10 minutes later the rain stopped!

The sky is blue and there are NO clouds that look of rain! In fact it is cloudless.

SO then I felt led to pray…

“Lord if it be your will gust the wind. Send wind.
Lord if it is your will gust the wind to 40 mph”

It went from calm to windy. Currently it is gusting so strong that it blew a planter off my outside table!

Right Now the fire is on the Ridge of Snow King Mountain. The fire has burned at least 2,040 acres and is being fought with three helicopters, eight engines, two crews — which are typically 20 firefighters each — and one bulldozer. One firefighting truck was burned Saturday night. A total of 112 persons are engaged in the battle, the U.S. Forest Service incident command said at its Inciweb site for the blaze.

An evacuation advisory remains in effect for east Jackson south of Broadway and east of Redmond, including the Vine Street-Snow King area. No evacuation order has been given.

Jackson Has been warned 3 times. This past May. The Churches banded together to stop the move of God. If the Christian would repent for their sin His mercy would be great. If the pagans would reject abortion and repent by asking for His forgiveness, He would spare them!

[In May of this year there were anti-abortion demonstrations in Jackson, Wyoming by Missionaries to the PreBorn and Operation Save America. These demonstrations were met with much hate speech by many of the people of Jackson.]

My 4 1/2 year old sang prophetically “God! The evil people deserve to die. The good people deserve to live!” Yes, He is sending the wicked great trouble tonight.

The Lord is birthing in me a burden to Pray Prophetically! To release Him to move Here!

Tomorrow is 9/11 a day of Judgment! A Day for Jackson’s Judgment. He comes like a thief in the night!
We serve a God who answers with FIRE! Amen!

“When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.” Isaiah 4:4

Our family is safe and is out of the path of the fire! Praise Jesus!

Tim Shey in Jackson, Wyoming, January 2011.  Genesis 18: 16:  “And the men rose up thence, and looked toward Sodom.”

Above is a very prophetic photograph.  The Horsethief Canyon Fire started in the ravine just to the right of my head.

Genesis 18: 20-22:  “And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;   I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.   And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.”

Genesis 19:  27-28:  “And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD:  And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and behold, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.”

Leviticus 20: 4:  “And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech [abortion, child sacrifice], and kill him not:  Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.”

We didn’t start the fire, God did  – DISS
.
Many valley residents prayed during the early stages of the Horsethief Canyon Fire. Some East Jackson residents prayed that their home be spared. Some prayed for the safety of the firefighters. Remember the religious group that came to Jackson this spring to fight for the unborn? They prayed we’d burn down.
.
To be fair, only a select few have been spotted in the blogosphere practically cheering the wildfire. Some even believed their prayers brought it upon our town – a Sodomite Jackson getting its comeuppance. At one blogspot run by Tim Shey, the hitchhiking prophet, the following entry appeared on Monday, September 10, the day rain began to fall on the fire:
.
“I prayed: ‘Lord, if it be Your will to put judgment on Jackson, please stop the rain.’ Five to 10 minutes later it stopped. Then I felt led to pray: ‘Lord, if it be Your will, gust the wind. Send wind. Lord, if it is Your will, gust the wind to 40 mph.’ It went from calm to windy. Currently, it is gusting so strong that it blew a planter off my outside table!”
.
The blogger continued: “My four-and-a-half-year-old sang prophetically ‘God! The evil people deserve to die.’ Jackson has been warned three times. Tomorrow is 9-11, a day of Judgment! A Day for Jackson’s Judgment. He comes like a thief in the night! We serve a God who answers with FIRE! Amen! Our family is safe and is out of the path of the fire! Praise Jesus!”
.
Judging from the comment section, this guy is not alone in his belief that the Horsethief Canyon Fire is being used by or was sent by God to smite Jackson
for being pro-choice.
.
I don’t mean to berate or belittle this blogger, or any of the other zealots that visited Jackson in May who share the sentiment. But a rebuking may be in order. I am a believer. God, who commanded the universe into existence, is certainly capable of whipping up a 4,000-acre wildfire to teach a town a lesson. Jesus Christ, who died and rose from the dead to offer salvation from sin by the perfect sacrifice, can easily sic a fire on an ungodly town if He desired.
.
But making these outlandish claims in His name only serve to give Christians a bad name.

I believe this is a very prophetic excerpt from a newspaper article (front page of the Jackson Hole Daily) about Jackson, Wyoming:

Fire is small, season is early
By Mark Huffman
.
“A brushfire Sunday was small enough to be called minor, but early enough in the season to be an ominous taste of what might be ahead.
.
“With Jackson Hole coming out of a warm and dry winter, the fire burned dead grass and seared sagebrush and leafless aspens at a construction site on NW Ridge Road, in the Skyline Ranch subdivision.  During many winters the area would have been under snow, but it’s clear now.”
