This morning I was listening to my audio Bible and I fell asleep. I had a dream where I was with Mark Taylor, the prophet from Florida. We were in a big room in this basement and we were throwing the football to each other. I noticed that, when Mark threw the football, it was a perfect, tight spiral. When I threw the football, at first, I used my right arm, but I threw a wobbly spiral because I had a sore right arm. (The first week of January, I injured my right shoulder and it has been sore since that time. It is healing, but very slowly.) Then I used my left arm and threw the football; I threw it a bit better, but it was still a bit wobbly. When we threw the football, we always caught the football–it never fell to the ground, which reminds me of this verse:
I Samuel 3:19-20: “And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground. And all Israel from Dan even to Beer-sheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD.”
I believe this dream means that Mark Taylor and myself are on the same wavelength.
About my sore right shoulder: I believe it might be prophetic and it reminds me of this scripture:
Genesis 32:24-25: “And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.”
Recently a co-worker flew to Las Vegas to visit some friends. He spent a few days in Las Vegas and said that the pandemic (I call it the fake pandemic) has really devastated the economy of Las Vegas. He said that the casinos are now open three or four days a week. The number of tourists visiting Las Vegas are way down from a year ago.
I had a dream about a Las Vegas earthquake back in 2006. Because of that dream, I thought that someday Las Vegas would have a literal, physical earthquake. Maybe that dream was not about a literal earthquake, but that the Lord would devastate the economy of Las Vegas. I also had a dream in 2017. In that dream, this man walked up to me and gave me a piece of paper with the words: “see ‘las vegas earthquake'”. Because of that dream, I believe that the Lord wanted me to reread and reexamine the Las Vegas Earthquake dream that He gave me in 2006.
Dreams are either literal or figurative. So instead of a literal earthquake destroying Las Vegas, we have a figurative earthquake (fake pandemic) destroying the economy of Las Vegas. And maybe Las Vegas represents the United States. The fake pandemic has devastated the economy and society of the United States.
A friend of mine told me that a spiritual Christian told her that the fake pandemic was God’s judgment on the United States and the world because of abortion. I believe that is true. Mark Taylor, the prophet, said that the fake pandemic is God’s judgment on the church system. I believe that is also true. Many people are not able to go to church on Sunday, so they are having home churches–and that is probably what the Lord wanted all along. The first church buildings weren’t built till around 400 A.D. Too many people think that the church is a physical building. It is not. The church is the people. Too many pastors are pastors of church buildings or church organizations–they are not pastors of the people. John Wesley used to preach on horseback or in the town square. George Fox used to preach out in the country–in the fields and the pastures. Our lives are preaching to others everyday whether we realize it or not. The life in Christ is the sermon. Our lives can be more powerful than words. “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” (I Corinthians 4:20)
Numbers 12:6: “And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.”
I Corinthians 13:12: “For now we see through a glass, darkly.”
Dreams from the LORD 2003-2006 (Part I)
9 December 2003
I started having dreams from the Lord in 1990. Around 7 September of that year, I had a dream of a miscarriage of a young lady I knew in Ames, Iowa. The miscarriage happened on 7 January 1991. I had several dreams concerning this woman while I was living in Ames. I thought that the reason why I had several dreams concerning this young lady was that she would be my wife someday. But now I look back and I believe the Lord was telling me that the reason she had the miscarriage was because of the dead church that she belonged to [Great Commission Church]—they rejected the Holy Ghost, they did not live by faith and they were conformed to the world.
10 December 2003
On 7 September 1990, I saw a woman that I knew in a dream. She was pregnant with two babies. I could see the two babies in her womb and then both turned black. I saw myself vomit and the name of this woman passed before my eyes. When I woke up, I was very disturbed. She had the miscarriage on 7 January 1991.
[The initials of the lady who had the miscarriage are D.H.]
Last night I had a dream where I saw Nancy Pelosi and this other guy sitting at a table. Then I heard someone say, “Nancy Pelosi belongs in a mental hospital” or “Nancy Pelosi belongs in jail.”
Last night I had a dream where I was in the U.S. Senate Chamber or in a large room adjoining the Senate Chamber. There were all of these Senators milling around and talking with each other. I saw Senator John McCain of Arizona walk out of the room. Then this big, fat Senator gave a fairly long speech. After his speech, he lay down on the floor flat on his back with his arms and legs spread out—he looked like he was absolutely exhausted.
Then this other Senator began to speak. He was very large and had long gray hair and a long gray beard; the hair of his moustache was very long and covered up his mouth. He looked like an absurd version of Santa Claus.
Because of what I saw in the Senate, I didn’t take it seriously. The U.S. Senate is supposed to be one of the most exclusive clubs in the world. It looked like a big zoo where nothing was getting done.
Last night I had a dream where I was at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. I was walking in this dining area when I noticed Senator Charles Grassley of Iowa; we spoke to each other for a little while.
Then, as I walked through the dining area, a Supreme Court Justice walked up to me, took a hold of my left arm and led me to a table where we could sit and talk for a while. This other Supreme Court Justice sat down with us. The three of us watched and talked about this court proceeding that was being televised on a TV screen in the dining room. The one Supreme Court Justice did most of the talking. I believe the court proceeding had to do with a man on trial for murder.
I believe this dream means that the next President of the United States will have to fill two Supreme Court vacancies.
Last night I had a dream about Barack Obama. In the dream, I was reading an article in a newspaper. In the article, it said that Barack Obama had taken some United Nations money that was supposed to be used for a certain African nation and used it instead for his own purposes. During the dream, I saw a map of Africa–probably central Africa–and I saw this line drawn from one nation that went north to a neutral nation–maybe this was a highway. I am not sure what “neutral” means. The neutral nation was colored white–the rest of the map of Africa was a dark color–maybe a lighter shade of black. In the lower right-hand corner of the newspaper article were six thumbnail photos of Barack Obama. The photos definitely looked like Barack Obama except for one thing–his skin color was much blacker in the photos than in real life. In the photos, Barack Obama looked more like an African black man than an American black man.
Last night I had a dream where I was driving this tractor-trailer. Sitting in the cab of the truck with me was Donald Trump. We were hauling heavy equipment. We couldn’t find a place to park the tractor-trailer, so I drove to this lot next to this job site and parked it there. I told Donald Trump that I had parked trucks there before. The owner of the lot walked up to our truck and I asked him if I could park our tractor-trailer there for a short while. He said it would be all right to park it there for a few days.
Another dream about Donald Trump:
Dreams from the LORD 2011-2016
20 September 2016
Last night I had a dream where I saw Donald Trump dressed in a business suit sitting comfortably on top of this bed. He was surrounded by many people—they looked like reporters. Trump was casually talking to the reporters.
I believe this dream means that Trump will easily win the election in November.

A Dream About Trump & Protesters
Last night I had a dream where I saw Donald Trump standing on a large rock or boulder. Surrounding him were protesters with signs. While I did not see what the individual signs were saying, I did get the sense that they were statements and accusations against the president. Then I saw a whirlwind come out of nowhere. I watched as it picked up the protesters along with their signs and spun them around. President Trump, however, was not affected and stayed standing on the large boulder. When the whirlwind dissipated I saw that the protesters signs had disappeared and also their clothing so that they were naked as well. Now instead of protesting and hurling accusations at the president they were desperately trying to cover their nakedness but not succeeding.
As with any dream I post, take this to the Lord in prayer. [24 October 2018]
“Trump’s wrecking a whole generation of Democratic governors who might otherwise have been presidential or vice-presidential timber, simply by letting them run things as they see fit.”
–Glenn Reynolds, Instapundit (6 May 2020)
George S. Patton at the Virginia Military Institute, 1907. Patton looks like Donald Trump.
“The average newspaper, especially of the better sort, has the intelligence of a hillbilly evangelist, the courage of a rat, the fairness of a prohibitionist boob-jumper, the information of a high school janitor, the taste of a designer of celluloid valentines, and the honor of a police-station lawyer.”
Last night I had a disturbing dream. In the dream, I was working for this guy that I know in Idaho. (I have stayed with he and his family many times over the years in my hitchhiking travels. He is a lukewarm Christian.) I was working with him and his hired man in what looked like an amphitheater. We were working on the top row of seats and the hired man had his hand outstretched holding onto this wooden panel. As he was leaning on the wooden panel, the lukewarm Christian pulled a lever and the panel dropped down. The hired man lost his balance and fell seventy feet to the concrete storm drain below. I quickly ran to where the hired man fell over the back of the amphitheater and looked down. I could see the hired man’s body crumpled lifeless on the storm drain. It looked like the man was dead: he had massive head and neck injuries and there was blood all over his upper torso. I yelled for help and eventually an emergency medical team came and extracted the body from the amphitheater. I later learned that the hired man did not die, but was severely injured.
The hired man was working in an amphitheater. The amphitheater represents worldly entertainment; many churches in the United States are into worldly entertainment. The amphitheater also reminds me of ancient Greek and Roman amphitheaters: Greek philosophy and Roman engineering are not the same thing as Jesus and Him Crucified or the Gospel preached in the power of the Holy Ghost.
The hired man did not die, but was severely injured. I believe this means that the Lord will definitely judge the lukewarm church in America—there will be much damage to the church, but it will survive. Hopefully, after experiencing God’s wrath, the hired man and other lukewarm Christians will turn back to the Lord and not to man-made religion (Greco-Roman, so to speak). In God’s wrath, there is both punishment and redemption.
*John 10: 11-13: “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.”
**I Corinthians 3: 12-13: “Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.”
Last night I had two dreams. In the first dream, it looked like I was in Ireland. I met these people while I was walking down this country road. I talked to them about the Gospel. One of these was a Catholic priest. The priest then had a profound salvation experience and was filled with joy. He started running down the road and told everybody he could about Jesus Christ.
In the second dream, I met these two guys. They were very evil. It looked like they wanted to do me harm. I then walked up to the older guy and said, “I rebuke you, Satan, in the name of Jesus Christ!” I kept saying this until this surprised, confused look came over his face. He started acting very strange, walked away from me, knelt down and vomited. He then had this big smile on his face. He had been delivered of a demon or demons. The same thing happened to his friend.
The first dream: I believe it means that there could be a revival in Ireland in the near future.
Last night I had a dream where I was at this public library in Mason City, Iowa. I met this young man at the library; his last name was Shey. I told him that my last name was Shey, also (we may have been related). I told him that my book, High Plains Drifter, was in that library. I pointed out my book to him: High Plains Drifter was put prominently on top of this shelf where everybody could see it. There was even a colored, fold-out poster advertising my book. The young man was happy to see my book.
The next scene: I was in this restaurant. I noticed a relative of mine walk through the restaurant. He didn’t see me. A while later, I walked up to this relative and we shook hands. We made some small talk. He told me that there were other relatives of mine in that same restaurant.
"Be reckless immediately, fling it all out on Him. You do not know when His voice will come, but whenever the realization of God comes in the faintest way imaginable, recklessly abandon. It is only by abandon that you recognize Him. You will only realize His voice more clearly by recklessness."

“Your fruit has been the fruit of Sodom, and your grapes the grapes of Gomorrah; you have long cumbered the ground, even until it is weary with you, and is ready to vomit you up; therefore bow yourselves unto the mighty God of Jacob, before he cuts you down, and casts you into the fire of his jealousy forever.”
George Fox
“And as your ears are attentive to the Lord’s voice, that speaks from heaven, iniquity’s mouth is stopped in you, the throne of iniquity is thrown down in you; that is, the wicked spirit and power, where iniquity sits; and the chambers of imagery are thrown down in you, where all thoughts and imaginations are.”
A.W. Tozer
“The old cross is a symbol of death. It stands for the abrupt, violent end of a human being. The man in Roman times who took up his cross and started down the road had already said good-by to his friends. He was not coming back. He was going out to have it ended. The cross made no compromise, modified nothing, spared nothing; it slew all of the man, completely and for good. It did not try to keep on good terms with its victim. It struck cruel and hard, and when it had finished its work, the man was no more.”
Leonard Ravenhill
“Great eagles fly alone; great lions hunt alone; great souls walk alone–alone with God. Such loneliness is hard to endure, and impossible to enjoy unless God accompanied. Prophets are lone men; they walk alone, pray alone and God makes them alone.”
