Hmm, interesting. I’ve been focused on the idea of repentance, of heeding the words and turning away from the path we’re on.
“And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.” Jeremiah 24:7
This could be a literal famine where people are starving for physical food or else it could be a spiritual famine where people are starving for the Word of God, the Bread from Heaven (Jesus). To me it is obvious that the United States has been in a spiritual famine for a number of years now.

Indeed, we’ve been in a spiritual famine for a number of years. People are literally starving, trying to fill their spirits with everything they possibly can, except God apparently. On the bright side, sometimes plunging into darkness is what motivates you to seek the light. That’s how it works for moths, anyway. They flutter around until they find a light source and then they cling to it.

A lot of this famine ties into U.N. agenda 21 which calls for a post-modern/post-industrial world by 2050 with a 90% population reduction! They want all on a neo-vegan vegetarian diet, no more meat/eggs/fish/dairy! They plan for all to eat in communal dining halls with the state controlling all rations, keeping all in a perpetual state of hunger & malnutrition! Fresh produce only in season, no more private kitchens or appliances, no more resturants/take-out or fast food! No more spices, coffee, tea,beer,wine,soft-drinks,juices or smoothies! Little or no sweets or sweeteners! The diet is going to narrow down tremendously! No more canning/bottleing/freezing or refrigeration of foods as well! Bugs will be the main source of animal protein !
