Modern Christianity is Careful Not to Oppose Sin   8 comments

awtozer_quotes1

The quote by A.W. Tozer above was taken from the Singapore Christian blog.  This is my comment below:

I Corinthians 9: 20-22: “And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.”

I believe too many Christians take the above scripture and re-translate it like this: “I must be conformed to the world so that I can save the world.” Too many worldly Christians on this planet. The Lord has called us to be a holy people–separate from the world system.

The Holy Ghost Fire really separates the wheat from the chaff.

II Corinthians 6: 17-18: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”

James 4: 4: “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”

Something to meditate on:

Why did John the Baptist camp out on the other side of the Jordan River?

[John 1: 28:  “These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.]

___

John the Baptist lived a very short life; very little is written about him in the New Testament.  Jesus called John the Baptist the greatest man ever born of woman.  Maybe we could say that John the Baptist was a greater prophet than Samuel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Elijah and all the rest of the Old Testament prophets.  The Book of Isaiah has 66 chapters; the Book of Jeremiah has 52 chapters; much more is written about Samuel and Elijah than John the Baptist.

Why is the life of John the Baptist still a powerful witness unto this day?

Probably because the crucified life has more power than the words that come out of our mouth.

Revival in Indiana   9 comments

th

This is from the blog The White Man:

INDIANA REVIVAL REPORT:  DAY 11

On January 22, 2015, billboards started going up in Elkhart County, Indiana, proclaiming; REVIVAL IS HERE. The night before, hundreds of students from six local high schools gathered on the stage to be prayed for. The youth pastors who had brought them filled the center aisle. What was the reason for this gathering?

It had just been reported that the principals of two local high schools–one public, one private–had released their students to participate in the revival. And before the night was over, a text arrived from the board of another public school proclaiming the same thing.

One of the students on the stage was wearing a sweaty soccer uniform, because he’d skipped showering after the game in order not to miss another 10 minutes of the meeting. That morning, as soon as he’d heard that school was cancelled due to a heavy fog, he hurried in to join the dozens of groups going out to pray across the county. He’d prayed at three homes already before noon, and invited a young man at one of them to join the meetings for the rest of the day–who did. Then it was off the the soccer game and right back to the house of meeting.

We are now on the 11th straight sixteen-hour day of corporate worship, intense prayer, and scattering into the community to pray with anyone who wants it. WFRN-FM has been carrying the services every single night, and people are tuning in from 50, 60 miles away–and worldwide by internet. One woman who watched the online videos at reviveindiana.org wasn’t able to get out of her house until she prayed along with a healing prayer on the video, and 24 hours later her back pain and inflammation was totally gone–so of course she was present in person at the next meeting!

This is an unusual revival in two ways: first, there are no altar calls, and very little preaching on repentance. The assumption is that the church in Elkhart County already has the Holy Spirit, and all they have to do is go out into the community and spread Him around. The focus is on first praying for whatever felt need is expressed, then, with the discernment of the Holy Spirit, leading each contact through a five-verse plan of salvation, giving them a New Testament, and making a commitment to follow up within 24 hours.

Secondly, healing is a primary result of this revival. Not a focus; no one is ever prayed for unless he requests it. But many are requesting healing, and they are getting it. And it’s not happening up on stage–its happening in homes, parking lots, and sidewalks all over the community. No one claims to have a gift of healing, but when they pray, they’re seeing people healed–often to their own amazement. And it’s not just physical healing; bondages are being shattered.

Hundreds of people are testifying that the Holy Spirit is moving in and through them. Doors are opening. Walls are coming down. More and more churches, having had their premises visited by prayer teams the first week, are coming on board. The overflow room has overflowed. Last night, simultaneous Spanish translation was offered for the first time.  At the rate things are going, there soon won’t be a building in Elkhart County big enough to hold the crowds–they may just have to move to the arena at the County Fairgrounds, which never hosts an outdoor crowd this time of year.

This has the makings of the first nationwide revival in over 100 years. And there are still over 40 days to go.

Tomorrow I’ll write about the building that’s about to be outgrown.

Smith Wigglesworth and the Power of God   Leave a comment

Smith Wigglesworth, 1859-1947

Zechariah 4: 6:  “This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”

I Corinthians 4: 20:  “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.”

I Thessalonians 1: 5:  “For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.”

There is a well-known story about Smith Wigglesworth while he was riding in a passenger train.  Wigglesworth was a British evangelist and faith healer in the early and mid 1900s.  The train stopped at this station and this man got on board and walked into the train car that Smith Wigglesworth was sitting in.  Smith was just sitting there—maybe he was reading something or maybe he was looking out of the window.  The man walked near where Smith was sitting, looked at Smith and cried out, “You convict me of sin!”  He then ran out of the car.  Smith never said a word; it was the Power of the Holy Ghost that convicted that man of sin.

Anointing in the Holy Spirit   7 comments

300px-Giaquinto,_Corrado_-_The_Holy_Spirit_-_1750s

“The fire fell and burned in me till the Holy Spirit clearly revealed absolute purity before God. At this point she (the Sister who laid hands upon him) was called out of the room, and during her absence a marvelous revelation took place, my body became full of light and Holy Presence, and in the revelation I saw an empty Cross and at the same time the Jesus I loved and adored crowned in the Glory in a Reigning Position. The glorious remembrance of these moments is beyond my expression to give–when I could not find words to express, then an irresistible Power filled me and moved my being till I found to my glorious astonishment I was speaking in other tongues clearly. After this a burning love for everybody filled my soul. I am overjoyed in giving my testimony, praying for those that fight this truth, but I am clearly given to understand that I must come out of every unbelieving element. I am already witness of signs following. Praise Him.”

20 May 2013

Yesterday I hitchhiked from Rocker (Butte) to Lolo, Montana via Anaconda, Philipsburg, Drummond and Missoula.  Last night I found a place to sleep a couple of miles west of Lolo near U.S. 12. This morning I got a ride from west of Lolo over Lolo Pass to Lowell, Idaho.

I walked a few miles and then got a ride with a guy named Pete. Pete spoke with a thick, eastern European accent.  I asked him if he was from Russia.  He told me that he was originally from Romania.  We had an intense talk. Pete was a Christian and we both agreed that there is too much sin in the United States and this is why Obama is in the White House.

I asked Pete if he had heard of the Prophet Dimitru Duduman.  He told me that he knew about Duduman (Duduman was from Romania). I have read most of Duduman’s testimony and his prophetic warnings.  Duduman said that because of the sins of abortion and homosexuality that America was going to burn.  Duduman began to warn America back in the 1980s. Pete told me that he did not call himself a Christian, but a disciple of Christ.  He thought that the label “Christian” has been watered down too much and that there are too many worldly Christians in America.  Pete spoke forcefully in the power of the Holy Ghost.  I knew that it was Providential that Pete gave me a ride.

I think it is interesting how the Lord sets up certain rides.  The ride from Lolo to Lowell was with a young woman.  She told me that she would give me a ride to Kooskia.  When she got to Lowell, she decided to stop there, go to the convenience store and then turn back to Missoula.  If she had taken me to Kooskia, I would have missed Pete.

The ride with Pete reminded me of the ride I got with an older lady last August in northern California.  She kept repeating “This is Sodom! This is Sodom!”  Pete told me that Christians should leave Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Chicago because of God’s wrath to come.  He said that New Orleans will never be rebuilt the way it was before Hurricane Katrina because of the wickedness in that city. The Lord puts people in your path for a reason.

Jeremiah 15: 1-3:  “Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.  And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity.  And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.”

Jeremiah 15: 6-7:  “Thou hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.  And I will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave them of children, I will destroy my people, since they return not from their ways.”

A Bombing Mission   18 comments

b1_mk82-e1360685696724

Last night I had a dream.  In the dream, I was somewhere in northern Arizona in the mountains.  Someone in a vehicle picked me up and we drove to this place where we boarded this bomber—it looked like the B1B Bomber.  It was very fast and powerful.

It seemed like we flew all over these mountains.  Then I saw the bombardier pull back this lever and the bomb load was released over our target.  I was with the bombardier in the front of the bomber.  I was amazed at how I could see everything below us—it was beautiful, mountainous area.

Then the bomber landed (I don’t remember landing) and I was in this vehicle and we ended up someplace.

The next scene:  I was with this family that I knew back in Ellensburg, Washington.  He was a pastor of a church and they had six children.  I used to spend a lot of time with them back in 1986-87.  We used to go to a small pentecostal church on the east side of Ellensburg—Bethel Gospel Church.

The pastor and his family weren’t that happy to see me.  They acted polite, but I think they wondered why I was there.  We didn’t shake hands or hug each other.  We made small talk—there was no Christian fellowship whatsoever.

Finally, the wife walked up to me and said, “You were not invited.”

I replied, “That’s true.”

And the dream ended.

I believe this dream means that in my work of intercession, I am taking out Satanic strongholds—strategic strongholds (the bombing mission, the B1B Bomber; the mountainous terrain represents strategic, Satanic strongholds).  When the Lord glorifies my body, the Lord is bombing the hell out of a stronghold:  a Muslim stronghold, a stronghold that hates Judaeo-Christianity (Israel and the United States), a lukewarm Christian stronghold, etc.

The pastor and his family represent a lukewarm Christian stronghold.  I was not welcome in their house.  Too many Christians play church and have lots of head knowledge, but they reject Christ with their lives.

I have said this for years:  if someone ever tries to kill me, it won’t be a radical Muslim, it will be a lukewarm, evangelical Christian.  I see all of these evangelical Christian churches in the United States and we have the devil (Barack Obama) in the White House.  Christian Pharisees are everywhere in this country and they make me vomit!

2013 Solomon Islands Earthquake   5 comments

solomonislandsquakemapAAP

Yesterday afternoon (February 5th) the Presence of God became very strong.  I later went to bed and the Holy Ghost was really burning me up.  It was so strong, I really didn’t get to sleep till 1 o’clock in the morning.  When the Presence of God is very strong like that, it usually means something.

This morning (February 6th) I was watching the 700 Club and on CBN News, they reported that an 8.0 earthquake had hit the Solomon Islands earlier in the morning.  It really bore witness with my spirit.

On the 24th of January, I was at my friends’ office and the phone rang.  This lady from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power was on the line and she wanted to make some reservations at my friends’ motel for the 5th and 6th of February.  When the phone rang, I was reading about William Mulholland and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power on the Internet.  I thought it was so strange that I would get a phone call from LA Water and Power while I was reading something about LA Water and Power.  As we can see, the Lord was definitely in that synchronized incident.  Obviously, the Lord warned me that something was going to happen on the 5th or 6th of February.  So what is the significance of the earthquake in the Solomon Islands?

Back on March 10th of 2011, I was at a friend’s place in Dubois, Wyoming.  I went to bed early because the Presence of God was very strong.  The next morning, I saw on the news that a powerful earthquake had hit Japan (9.1 on Richter Scale).  But the Lord never warned me that something was going to happen on the 11 of March (as far as I can remember).
