My thoughts and prayers go out to the grieving parents who lost their children in the mass shooting in Connecticut.*
But the United States is a culture of death. We are still murdering 4000 pre-born baby boys and girls every day–LEGALLY–rubber stamped by our Supreme Court (Roe v Wade 1973). There is very little outrage over the shedding of innocent blood by abortionists. THE NEW YORK TIMES will never have headlines that read: “4000 More Babies Killed Today”. The NBA will never have a moment of silence before a basketball game for the aborted babies in this country. In places like Jackson, Wyoming, most people there would run over a thousand human babies just to save one wolf cub or save one eagle egg. This is a perverse generation.
I remember I was living in Ames, Iowa–-I think it was in the 1990s–-and this mother of two from South Carolina put her kids in a car, pushed the car into a lake and the two kids drowned. There was a great public outcry. Then this local Catholic priest from Ames wrote a letter to the editor and said something like, “What’s the big deal? We murder children before they are born in this country, who cares if we murder them after they are born?” He really caused a stir in the Ames area and on the Iowa State University campus.
Because of this mass shooting in Connecticut, there will be heated debates about guns and gun control. But guns don’t kill people. It is the person who controls the trigger who kills people.
If they try to ban guns, they should ban cars, planes and abortion clinics. Cars, planes and abortion clinics kill people.
*[I now believe that the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax.]

Well said. Something the Holy Spirit told me a few days ago was, “what has been done in secret will now be done in the open.” That really scared me. (the Fear of the LORD kind of scared).

Another thought I had was, “Sandy comes from Cassandra or Alexandra meaning ‘defender of men’.” It would seem that Father will not defend men anymore? He will not arbitrate with men….I cant find that verse….
There is a Scripture that says, “Your sin shall find you out.” Most or all pre-born babies that are murdered are murdered in secret, so to speak–out of public view, in a doctor’s office. If every pre-born baby was murdered out in the open on main street, there would be a violent reaction against abortion (I think–but America is such a perverted place, maybe not). So many sins are done in secret, but the Lord sees EVERYTHING.
Since most people in the United States don’t have a problem with the murder of pre-born babies (but they would go ballistic if someone like myself made a video of me killing a wolf with a high-powered rifle and then put it on YouTube), the Lord has taken His hedge of protection away from many people, towns and cities in this country. I am just surprised that the Lord has shown so much mercy on the United States in the past twenty or thirty years.
I believe the Lord is targeting the United States for much more judgment in the near future. I don’t think repentance will stay His hand. The United States is drunken with the blood of innocent children (abortion).
About your second comment. I think it was this past summer or early fall and I had a dream. In the dream, I heard the words, “That’s enough!” I believe this means that the Lord has had enough of the sin in the United States, that His mercy has run out. I believe it was shortly after this dream, that I was hitchhiking in northern California and this lady picked me up and kept repeating, “This is Sodom! This is Sodom!”
