A Prophet’s Eyes
By Tim Shey

I piped to you
But you did not dance;
I mourned to you,
But you did not weep.

I abide
In the furnace of God.
My breath
Is the fire of Heaven.

A writer once said,
You look
Like Leo Tolstoy.
It’s your eyes,
He said.
Your eyes . . .
. . . like Leo Tolstoy.

A circle of fire
Surrounds me
Protecting me
From Satan’s arm,
Warning me
Of Satan’s charm,
Keeping me
From Satan’s harm.

An intense burning
Within me
Is stoked by
The Word of God.
A deeply felt yearning
Within me
To warn them
Of the wrath of God.

Isaiah, Jeremiah and Elijah,
I know you well,
Because I am baptized
With the same
Holy Ghost Fire
That empowered you
And kept you from Hell.

Jesus died
So that
I can see
Events
Before they are born.
I was birthed—
Not of flesh
Nor of the will of man—
I was birthed
In violence
By the Precious Blood of God.

His body was pierced
So that my eyes
Could pierce
The dark night of Adam
And help unblind the blind.
The white-hot heat of Heaven
Is the color
Of my sight
That leads us upward and onward,
Spirit-filled warriors of mankind.

  10. I know for a certain fact I have been given the prophetic gifting to encourage and edify other Christians with. I have struggled really hard to use the gift within the church with so much skepticism and envy that my Christian brothers often tend to test my gift with. I find that the gift and my true motive for using the gift through God and from God conquers all the skepticism and unbelief wherever I use it obediently. It is always on trial and it always proves itself in time. It doesn’t matter if a pastor comes against it, in time God will prove his own words and messages every time. In the end, if a word is from God, God will prove to every one that he sent it and will glorify himself through it and not allow the messenger/prophet to take that fact away from any message from him.

  11. Charles: In my prophetic walk with God, I usually have prophetic dreams and prophetic perceptions in my spirit. The Lord also speaks to me through circumstances. It seems that prophets are rejected by most church people.

Ephesians 2: 20: ”And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.”

  21. I have had four dreams about Donald Trump:

    Dreams from the LORD 2011-2016
    25 May 2016

Last night I had a dream where I was driving this tractor-trailer.
Sitting in the cab of the truck with me was Donald Trump. We were
hauling heavy equipment. We couldn’t find a place to park the
tractor-trailer, so I drove to this lot next to this job site and parked
it there. I told Donald Trump that I had parked trucks there before.
The owner of the lot walked up to our truck and I asked him if I could
park our tractor-trailer there for a short while. He said it would be
all right to park it there for a few days.

    Dreams from the LORD 2011-2016
    20 September 2016

Last night I had a dream where I saw Donald Trump dressed in a
business suit sitting comfortably on top of this bed. He was surrounded
by many people—they looked like reporters. Trump was casually talking to
    the reporters.

I believe this dream means that Trump will easily win the election in November.

    Dreams from the LORD 2011-2017
    27 February 2017

Last night I had two dreams with Donald Trump.

In the first dream, I was traveling with President Trump. He was
meeting with people, talking to people: the general needs to visit his
    troops.

The next scene: we were sitting in this restaurant having some
breakfast, when someone placed a book on the countertop. It was my
second book: The First Time I Rode a Freight Train & other
    hitchhiking stories.

I said, “What is this book doing here?”

Right away, President Trump took my book, opened it up and began
writing some comments in the margins. He told me that he had read the
book and liked it a lot. We spoke for a long time, but I forget most of
    the details.

I then woke up and was surprised that it was all a dream. It seemed so real: I was talking with President Trump.

I went back to sleep. Then I had another dream with Donald Trump.
We spoke with each other for quite some time. It was similar to the
    previous dream.

Genesis 41:32: “And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh
twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will
    shortly bring it to pass.”

When a dream is repeated twice during the same night, it definitely
means something. In the mouth of two or three witnesses, let every word
    be established.

  23. Very inspirational. Glory be to God for having brought me to this web site.

  24. “Methinks I am a prophet new inspired
And thus expiring do foretell of him:
His rash fierce blaze of riot cannot last . . .”

“O, had thy grandsire with a prophet’s eye
Seen how his son’s son should destroy his sons . . .”
